Ping Pong

Did a little mixing work on my song yesterday. Jacques came over later in the afternoon and we did a little work. Mostly we reprogrammed the drums for "Histrionics" and then played around for a while doing awesome shit with the vocoder and some stuff. Then Mary Beth and I went over to Josh and Molly's for hanging out and ping pong (well, I played ping pong at least). It was pretty cold but us dudes buttoned up and went at it. Josh and I played then Jacques showed up and he played too. I was kicking ass and maintaining my undefeated status until Jacques wanted to play one last game and then he beat me. We went inside for a while and we were gonna play a board game but Josh wanted to play more ping pong so I went back out and played with him. Played so much fucking ping pong my right shoulder started getting sore. Then I switched and started playing left-handed. Of course, I was much worse and sucked at first but I started getting kinda okay at that too after a while. A real ping pong player would kick my ass, but it was a lot of fun. I got to where if it was set up just right I could spike the shit out of the ball and it'd be impossible to come back (though every now and then when I SHOULD have had it I'd just completely miss the ball, so that wasn't badass). Also earlier, Josh discovered a weakness of mine and started beating me: my left side. So he went after that, but then that gave me practice and I started getting better and came back. That was pretty cool. Anyway, I hope my shoulder will be okay for weight lifting today. I'm going up in the bench (finally) so I need it to be. We'll see. Anyway, enough ping pong nerdiness.
