last night Jacques came over for a semi-band practice...this morning i got two more calls from schools for interviews, one is a middle school, which is not what i'm after, but i think it's for eighth graders taking algebra so it's advanced or something? i dunno...i'm not in a very good position right now anyway...i called the principal at Carver on the cell number she gave me and it didn't sound such a done deal as it did yesterday morning...she said something about being about to leave for vacation and she'd need to check her email and contact hr and something about another applicant and i'll hear something by tuesday...so it seems my hopes were misplaced...
