First thing is yesterday morning we went and looked at a house. The layout is about perfect. We have some concerns about standing water in the basement and if that might be indicative of some sort of structural problem. Also the neighborhood seems iffy. A little uncertain, can't say definitively one way or the other, but maybe it just is kind of an in-between sort of area. Then a little later I went to look at a rental that's on the other side of the Park. In the afternoon I went over to my dad's as he'd been wanting to go back over his will stuff with me again (which is always pretty depressing). My nephew is back home and seems just fine, again the doctors think none of the poison made it in and he spitted it all up as soon as he tasted it. And again that's a big relief. At night Mary Beth and I picked up Graham and we went to Mary Jo's house where there was an exhibit and performances stuff. We got there in time to see Jenny perform three pieces on flute. They'd set up the room so that the middle was curtained off on both sides and Jenny was in the middle, looking into a mirror behind the slightly transparent curtains so kind of playing "by herself." It was really good. Sharon had an art exhibit where there's a pillow she made but it's outside and there are plants growing out of it and stuff. Cool stuff! Then the band We Live on the New Madrid played and they were good. Justin (of Impala) is on sax and Tripp (of Grifters) is on bass and the drummer and guitarist I don't know. Instrumental music, kinda of cinematic. Saw a few people I don't often see. Had a good time.
