a rare event of me having a saturday off yesterday (and i'm off the next several as well)...Mary Beth and i went to this newish farmer's market they're starting up in the morning and picked up a few things to take to my parents' later in the day...we did the easter thing at my parents'...i realized just how old Lizzie is yesterday...she doesn't seem so old...when Leala was that age she was showing it much more...though now i'm at the point where i'm realizing she may not be around much longer and that's pretty sad...it's possible she could live for a few years more, but it's getting close...i should see her more...god, it really sucks thinking about that now...anyway, my parents gave us some old furniture so now we actually have some: a couch and a love seat...my dad helped bring it over with his trailer after we ate...they'd given us covers for them for christmas in anticipation of this...we wouldn't've even considered it (and hadn't for a while as the furniture was offered much earlier) had Trudy not been much better in the piss and shit department with this Cat Attrack litter...but just in case we still need to figure out a system to put some sort of lining between the covers and the couches...so they're under torn garbage bags for the time being...at work today i finished reading The Interrogation by J.M.G. Le Clézio...it was quite good, didn't think i was liking it at first but my opinion changes although i'm not sure why...a really good book...anyway, that's all for now...
