return of the vacation

so i did my solitary day of work for the week...i did finish reading Speak, Memory by Vladimir Nabokov...i forgot to mention earlier about the hours for work changing...the whole center...instead of being open from 6 am to midnight it'll only be open from 8 am to 8 pm, which is good for me i guess as it gets rid of those late and early hours i don't like very much at all...though the 8 to 9 hour's still a bit early...anyway...i guess we'll see how that goes...i guess that's it...

Did you go flex? Based on what others have told me I may be #1 in flex and you're not that far behind. You'll have a good chance for those odd hours you like so much :) Most everyone else seems to want earliest possible. I did 8-9:30 I think for start/earliest. In my favor are 4 higher who went fixed, 1 part-timer and 1 who tends towards latest possible, then me. I can manage hours, whatever they give me, but I hope they let me keep the weekends off. Of course, everything can change tomorrow!

yeah, i went for flex...while i'd rather work a little earlier than 11:30 to 8 (but even that's not bad, as 3:30 to midnight being not even something i'd consider) it's all not so bad...hopefully i'll be able to get what i want without weekends...but as now EVERY schedule is within my rather-work-these-hours-than-work-on-the-weekend set, i hope i'm high up enough that i get it...and as i guess more people want to work earlier than i do, i should have at least a BETTER chance even if i'm still not so high up on the flex list...what's your overall seniority?

overall is 7. which wasn't so bad in the past but these days if they make us all fixed or flex then i'm somewhat screwed.
