Mary Beth and i are getting married...we've been engaged since friday, been holding off posting online to tell people in person first...it won't be for over a year, we're looking at next fall though it's all very vague...i guess i'll go into what little details there are...a little bit after she came home from work on friday i asked her if she wanted to go for a walk...this was about twilight...we walked over to the median of East Parkway stepped up the little hill above the 'M' of flowers and i did the whole on my knee thing and stuck a gummy peach-flavored ring of candy on her finger and proposed...of course she said yes (i say "of course" becase i already said we're getting married and that wouldn't be the case if she'd say no...) although her first words were "are you making fun of me?" so there it is...
