today at work i finsihed reading Ecce Homo by Friedrich Nietzsche...okay, that's all for today...oh, except that i got this cd in the mail: Dancers of Bali: Gamelan of Peliatan, 1952...

i'll recap some things Mary Beth reminded me of and that you've probably already noticed from the comments to my last post, but irregardless! (yeah, i know): yeah, so i sang "Open Arms" then the next day we're at Houston's (which was a random place to eat at, only 'cuz we were housesitting around the corner) and this waitress or whatever comes up and asks if i was at so-and-so and sang so-and-so and it was awesome, etc...next-day karaoke recognition? pretty sweet...also in the midst of that Apples to Apples game, Jacques pulls his adjective card for "puffy" and right at that moment i pull my new object card for fuckin' "Puff Daddy"...it was the awesomest moment ever in the history of all of card gaming...so i assume...see, Puff Daddy is puffy by definition...oh and i guess now's as good a time as ever to mention: while my job is secure as far as what they're TELLING US as in i'm in the last group of people to stay, not getting laid off, it's pretty apparent that they're gonna just shut the whole place down...i'm assuming they're dragging it on til the lease on the building runs out at the end of the year...so i'm estimating that around then i'll be needing a new job...damn...anyway...
