Mary Beth gave me a couple last night: Frog by Stephen Dixon and The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera (the former being a random gift and the latter a book she happened to have an extra copy of...) today we made a successful venture to that goodwill bookstore down in southaven...it was pretty lame and they didn't have much selection (they didn't have a terrible amount of books at all...and the place last night had a great selection...so, uh, yeah...) i did get a few things: East of Eden by John Steinbeck, Culture Shock!: Korea, and Oh No, It's Robert by Barbara Seuling (some children's book...but they stole my life! i frickin' promise!) anyway, enough southaven...uh...

what do you think of slowness?

immortality was my favorite for a long time. it's kind of unlike the others, eh?

yeah - immortality was the first one that i read and i was just blown away by it. that was over 10 years ago, and i reread it early this year.
i don't remember much about slowness, though i read it a couple of years after it came out. i'm pretty sure i've read all but about 2 of his books, but it's been well over 5 years since i have read any but immortality...
