I voted no just because you said something about getting a credit card. I think it's okay if you save the money, but not if you do it with a new credit card. Save for it, you'll appreciate it more.
I've been similarly tempted with a Best Buy card. I have theis professional digital camera I want but I'm going to save for it. It's $1500. They tempt me with no interest for 18 months, etc. I could pay it off in 18 months or less, but I'd rather not take the risk.
Plus, credit card companies are EVIL and everyone should cut up every last one of their cards.
the problem with saving my money is that it'll be a limited run, they start shipping in september...it would be very impossible to save up before they're out of 'em...
