smell my insides
Mar. 27th, 2005 02:13 pmand odd sort of day yesterday...i woke up far too early and couldn't get back to sleep due to the stuffiness of my nose...after a while i went over to Jacques/Amber's...after a little while Jason and Amanda came over too...we went to eat at this sandwhich place in east memphis called roly poly...then Amanda split to go to work...the rest of us were gonna go to the library bookstore 'cuz i had gotten a fancy for that...as we're about to park we got a call from Amanda that she had been in an accident right outside of her workplace...so we turned back around and went over there...luckily it was a really small one...no injuries and so far it seems only body damage to the cars...her passenger side doors are a bit bent up, but there wasn't even any busted glass or nothin' so i guess it's also lucky the damage is relatively light as far as i know of...Amanda didn't get a ticket or nothing 'cuz it wasn't her fault...after the traffic cop left we all went back to Jacques/Amber's place...Amanada skipped work so she was back to hanging out with us...we made a trip to target and spin street...i didn't get nothin' myself...but uh back at Jacques/Amber's we watched stuff...Getting Lucky, The Black Circle Boys, and a few random bits of post-makeup Kiss goodness...the two movies i'd seen, but i'd forgotten most of the amazing stuff that happens in Getting Lucky so it was almost like seeing it for the first time...wonderful...and i think i have a new catchphrase...i didn't come up with the phrase itself, it was something Jacques read about someone's dad saying and thought it was funny...but then i apparently came up with the perfefct delivery/presentation of the words...well, the phrase is (said before you fart) "smell my insides"...then after revealing the story i made use of it with a fart, i sort of waved my arms and made a face all fantastical-like...i guess i was going for a sort of ren-fair/drama student voice but the impression the others got was of a magician...which i guess is almost the same thing...it certainly was magic...Jacques and Amanda especially laughed so hard i thought some laughter-related death might happen...(and Amanda usually gets mad/offended at farts/farting related humor...so that was really something...) and the evening was finished off with the magic tricks of Paul Stanley on the television screen...Kiss is such a strange display of yin and yang...on one hand Gene Simmons is one of the most despicable people i've ever known of, but on the other hand Paul Stanley is one of the most amazingly wonderful people to have ever lived...even though i'd seen it before, the video where he's swinging from a vine and a volcano errupts almost killed me with laughter...so the moral is: farting and fruity, makeupless singers are the perfect cures for anyone's woes...
