friday night Amanda and Jason came over and we watched The Wicker Man...and while i in no way condone christian music, the soundtrack makes me damned glad i didn't grow up pagan...so much stuff in that movie would have been made LESS gay if they threw in two dudes buttfucking in the middle of the scenes...but it was a decent movie in spite of all the pagan faggotry, and the end was quite nifty...then last night i ended up over at their apartment and we watched The Blood Splattered Bride...quite the terrible disappointment...far more bride than blood splattered...and it went on and on and on...though i did laugh a lot, but it seems the more the movie kept going on the less that happened...but yeah, if you see this move and wanna get it expecting all that blood splattereding, then heed my warning!!! and uh, don't or something...yesterday The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure came in the mail!!! (it also came with a nifty shirt! it's grey and it has two vertical green stripes on the side (with a yellow strip in between) and there's a small image of Link from the original NES Zelda (i.e. all blocky) holding up the triforce and underneath it says Hero...) i played it last night and it's quite great...it'll be harder to play with multiple players than i thought 'cuz each player has to have their own GameBoy Advance, though a single player can just use a regular GameCube controller...but, as it's real easy to play single player, the game itself is fucking great...quite a bit different than a regular Zelda game but that's to be expected...i guess the gameplay is like a Zelda game, but it flows more like a uh, Castlevania game or something like that...in that it has levels and stuff...i say Castlevania because it shows a map of where you are between each level and stuff...but i'd really like to play with multiple players sometime...it seems neat the way it involves both cooperation and competition...also with 3 or 4 players each person gets to rank the others as to who was the most helpful and least helpful and that does something and that seems cool...while i guess it's not quite as great as the regular Zelda games, it's really fucking cool...it's neat to have all the elements of a Zelda game streamlined into a more straightforward, linear, level-by-level sort of game...and the whole multiple player idea is rad, if i'll ever get to execute it...okay, i guess i've blathered about that enough, especially considering i've only played one level so far...
