stuff happens sometimes...

got up a little early to go up to the school to take care of crap....i ended up tangled up in a rollercoaster ride of bureaucracy...first i go to find someone to get a second signature on my elective sequence thing, but after looking around and asking a few ppl, it is clear that the person i need to sign it wasn't there today...then i went to the graduation office thingie to get my stuff straightened out...going around to a few other buildings, i end up on the fourth floor of Jones Hall (i stepped on many stairs today...not just in that building, but that was the worst...i went up and down Dunn several times...) this is where the general education office is at...this was because a class i took at Knoxville didn't transfer over right and i need it transfered to the right credit so i can graduate and all...i filled out some form and they said it'd take one to two weeks to be processed...ugh...oh, i'll also add that just before this i was going to go to my stupid class, but i get there and no one's there...so i guess it wasn't happening today...which makes me even more fearful that i did miss an exam in my two weeks of oversleeping...i guess i'd better email my professor...bah...i went back to the graduation office place and the woman there said she'd talk to the main woman about the one to two weeks to hear back about that class...i should be able to get the signature needed for the elective sequence on monday...so hopefully everything can get straightened out and i can graduate...(that is, if i don't fuck up any of my classes...which is looking VERY likely right now...) and there's also some crap involving my financial aid, which relies on this graduation shit to be straightened out first as well...aye! biggity bollocks! after running around campus i went over to Justin's and grabbed him for some pre-work kicking it...we went to Legba...i didn't get anything but i re-ordered some stuff and ordered a couple new things...hopefully they don't all come in at once...i should be holding back on cds after all the spending i've been doing lately...and that damned Pop Group cd that was like buying several cds...(not that i'm complaining...i mean, getting one GOOD album is better than getting several not-so-good albums...) picking up some Krystals along the way, i dropped Justin back off and went to work...oh yea, we also made a death-defying train dodge...work was kind've interesting...i got in at 5 and drove until 6, when i was supposed to phone train Kori again...also, at 6 this news crew from Channel 5 was there doing some piece on pre-thanksgiving delivery food ordering...so i may be on the teevee for a second in the background pretending like i'm doing work...it should be EXCITING! i was there "training" for about a half hour, having not really done anything when they realized there were too many ppl there and it was kind've pointless for me to be there...since she was already trained and can do the phones...i was just wanted to help her w/ "fine tuning"...but she could ask anyone else any questions like that...so i left...woo! then i went to Turtle's where i got Squarepusher: Feed Me Weird Things (thanks, Keith, for the notice...much appreciated even though i hate you and all that...) i also got An American Werewolf in London dvd used...now i'm back home...
