the insomnia persisted last night...it was pretty fucking bad...i didn't get to sleep 'til daylight started creeping in...though at one point i dug up the old Family Ghost tapes and listened to a few bits...our Suicide covers are the best thing ever...i didn't get up as early as i had planned, but i did get up relatively early and went up to the school...my advisor said he'd be there at 11...my plan was actually to get there 10ish to take care of some other stuff too...i didn't actually get there 'til about 1pm...he wasn't there...(actually i saw him in the teacher's lounge as i walked by, but he was w/ a group of other ppl and i know he sure as hell would not have been responsive to my bothering him...) i went over to the student aid place and (finally) inquired about my loan and such...they handed me some papers i have to fill out for verification and turn back in along w/ my tax forms...sure it's pathetic how long it's taken me to get around to it, but at least i'm getting around to it now...tried to find my advisor again, but to no avail...before my class, i started writing on this novel thing...there's some contest from some site to write a novel in a month...the word length required is relatively short, but still a lot to write in a stinkin' month...starting this late and w/ school and all i prob'ly won't get it finished, but ummm...i've started in any case...then my stupid class...the test (which i missed like the idiot i am) was handed back...she let the class take it in groups too...jesus fucking christ that would have been so easy...bah...to top it off, once it was handed back she let us go...well, at least i had to go up to the school anyway...heading back to my car, i did bump into Paul...and on the way home i stopped by the gas station w/ the bombass sushi...mainly to get some sushi, but while there i was getting some gas too...at the pump in front of me was this really really really really cute indie-ish looking girl...but i was a little put off by the fact that she had an "abortion: the hidden holocaust" sticker on her car...she also had a Weezer sticker as well as some others that i guess were bands i'd never heard of (crappy emo, i assume...) she's prob'ly all jemo (a term i made up for christian emo...) bah...well, i bet she'd have an abortion if i raped her...hoo-ah! why was i never on Def Comedy Jam? i bought some sushi but no no beverage because i knew we had coke at home...then i get home and the coke's all gone! bastards...so i had to go back in my car and go to the nearest gas station to get some...but they didn't have vanilla coke...i settled for cherry...the sushi was quite excellent...
