w/ the most, i say...
Oct. 11th, 2002 01:50 amclass/sleep/The Simpsons/stuff...i had a midterm in my last class...did not study for it at all...also, it turns out that in my security class i turned in assignment #2 instead of assignment #1...i said i had already done it (i haven't) but i'll throw it together tonight or in the morning and turn it in tomorrow...after that exam The Family Ghost practiced...it went pretty well...i think i've interpolated a set for our next show from our individual wishes...luckily, there were lots of shared wishes song-wise...surprisingly, our version of "The Longest Day of the Year" (a.k.a. "Slow Autumn" a.k.a. "The Slowest Autumn of the Year") sounded really frickin' good in spite of the fact that we hadn't played that on in forever (and forever ago when we did, it wasn't too good...) hopefully now that i'm believing we'll be practicing regularly again, we're well on track to playing out again...oh yea, and when we first got there we had a little rock duel w/ the heavy metal hippies...and before Brad arrived, Jacques (guitar), Paul (bass), and i (drums) started rocking out w/ this new post-p(f)unk number that's reminiscent of Liquid Liquid and good A Certain Ratio...hopefully it'll get worked out as a song soon...i did not go to karaoke afterwards...no one else was going...so now i'm home...did a LITTLE more on the site...i may have a few pages up by the end of the night...actually containing a small amount of substance...woohoo!
