Packed

Mary Beth and I went to the Metal Music yesterday and looked at the exhibits and stuff. On the way home, I picked up some wire to see if I could do some grounding on my guitar to stop the bad hum but it didn't work. But that's fine, lots of hum will just be part of the drone. I figured I would do a test run for packing up for my set because I have a lot of stuff (again, why do I keep doing this to myself!? okay, it's the second time ever and last time it was over a year ago and now this is technically less stuff, but still a lot and closer than I'd thought!). I started to have a moment of, oh shit, this stuff won't fit when I put Wayne's cab in the car, but then I realized I could stack our cabs alright and that was fine, but then I remembered how bulky my guitar case is and all the fucking stands I'm going to need. Well, I got it in with the textbook definition of "barely"! I think I'll be fine but glad I did this practice packing run. At least I know what to expect, and I know the item where it has to be tetrised in first, etc.
