"Just eat the damn oranges!"

So it turns out I straight up broke that chair I was talking about. Cracked the metal in the part that connects the chair to the cylinder. I took it apart and am trying to see if I can just fix it. I think I should be able to easily get the broken part to replace it for not a lot of money, the only problem is...removing that broken part from the chair. I watched instructional videos on how to remove that part from an office chair and they were all pretty much just bang the fuck out of it until it comes off. Been banging on it but so far stuck on there pretty good. We'll see. After work I took the car to get the oil changed and also got the transmission fluid replaced. Fun stuff. Later I went on a walk with Mary Beth around the neighborhood (we've been doing a few together this week, though I keep forgetting to mention about it). At night we watched some Simpsons and I was getting reminded of some really really funny shit I'd forgotten about (first and foremost, see quote in the Subject of this post, also Painful Memories Party Supplies). Another thing I'd meant to post about but kept forgetting and now it's about a week old, I think. I had finished the flyer art for the September show with Pas Musique. I had spent about a damn week tweaking it, not really being satisfied with it and maybe thinking I should try a different approach. It has a lot of these concentric circles and I was kept playing with adding more or removing them and finally somewhere in the middle I settled on something. I'm kind of rambling now 'cuz it's been a damn week but whatever.
