Ears

I participated in Sonic Youth's Walls Have Ears listening party on bandcamp yesterday. So listened to the live album online (my physical copy should be showing up today, actually) and Steve, Thurston, and Lee were in the chat. Bandcamp chat for an artist that big is pretty chaotic and difficult to keep up with, but we all mostly got used to it and it was fun kind of "being there." One bit of information I learned is that Thurston and I share the same favorite Swans song ("Blackout"!) (in fact, the only time I ever said anything in the chat was echoing this sentiment with: YES, BLACKOUT!). I think there was one more piece of slightly more practical knowledge/trivia but I think I've forgotten it. I took Mary Beth to get her hair cut after work. I found that my initial reservations about the Nerd Alert place are true as they're not following through with their secondhand store after all and are letting a fuckin' tattoo place take over. Well, I'm off work today so I'll be off doing stuff soon!
