Slightly White Christmas
Dec. 25th, 2022 10:20 amIt's Christmas and there's still snow on the ground outside! Our back parking lot (which is our primary vista outside) is still pretty covered in snow. But if you look out the front, there's not so much and especially not where it gets less shade. But even though it's from three days ago and there's not a whole ton left, it's still pretty magical to have a white Christmas here in Memphis. Okay! So yesterday in the afternoon Mary Beth and I went for a walk. It was nice to get out and actually see and experience the snow (there was more of it then, some of it was starting to go away in sunnier places, but it still felt pretty snow-covered). At night we watched My Dinner with André and then the bonus features. Hadn't seen it in a while, definitely fun to revisit. We woke up and did a present exchange this morning. I got some sweet books!: The Promise by Silvina Ocampo, Forgotten Journey by Silvina Ocampo, and Thus Were Their Faces by Silvina Ocampo (I'm detecting a theme!) and I also got a Kilwins gift card. Sweet! Okay, time for more merriment!
