Yesterday I finished reading Crabwalk by Günter Grass. It was okay, not nearly as good as the others by him I've read. Later at night I worked on music. Brook Pridemore, who I'd played a show with years ago, has a newer noise type of project he's been wanting to do split tapes with other people. And so finally getting something together for a split tape at some point. I'm using the four track. I recorded three tracks, which will make up half of the "background" sounds. Mostly just getting a certain sound down and then recording a side of a cassette while gradually nudging the pitch/speed. We'll see how it all turns out. I have an idea in my head but it's the kind of thing I won't know til I've got everything down. And in addition to recording the three tracks, I bounced them down to make room for the next go. Well, now back to work.
