Mulholland

Last night I went to the Indie Memphis screening of Mulholland Drive up at Crosstown. My second time seeing it in a theater. Definitely the best movie I've gotten to see in its original theatrical run. It didn't feel as long as it is this time, maybe because I had psyched myself up for a pretty long movie. It also seemed closer to straightforward than I'd remembered it. I mean, it still had that puzzle-pieces-that-don't-quite-fit quality. Maybe it's just being more familiar with it? Anyway, fun time seeing it again!
