Yesterday during lunch Mary Beth and I did our Fresh Market grocery run. Then at the end of my break I finished reading Cities of the Plain by Cormac McCarthy. It was good, though once again this year it was a trilogy whose best book was the one in the middle. I got asked to do a test migration in the evening after work, but then I kept waiting for it to happen and I wasn't hearing anything. Earlier in the day I'd broken the holder/connector for the shower head (cheap shitty plastic) and so I needed to run to the hardware store before it closed. So I made it and picked up the new piece and replaced it (at least that's easy) and then the migration team had fallen behind so the whole thing was deferred until the morning anyway. Now it's the morning, let's see how it goes. OH! I almost forgot the biggest thing about yesterday! I got tickets to see Kraftwerk at Crosstown Arts next year (again, again with tickets, not actually seeing them since it was cancelled because of covid). The normal sale starts Friday so I was waiting for that, but Jacques messaged me with a presale code so I hopped on that and got some pretty close seats! Later in the evening I got my own email that there's a presale that starts Thursday (today, yesterday's tomorrow) so I guess this was a pre-pre-sale or something? Anyway, I'm ticketed! Let's see if it goes better this time...
