Memorial Day

I'm nearly positive I cracked the streaming server issues from the last show. The resolution of the video that's being streamed to it affects the cpu, so if it's sufficiently hi-res then the cpu gets maxed out and it starts clipping. So that's outside of the machine itself, but I'll just add instructions pertaining to how to make sure the output resolution isn't too high when I send out streaming instructions later this week. I'll practice some more with everything and make sure I don't run into anything else that reproduces issues, and I'll play with optimization a little more. In the late afternoon Mary Beth and I went out to my parents' house for a Memorial Day thing. We hung out on the back deck and the weather was very nice. The dog Leia mostly stays inside and the new puppy Stella mostly inside, so they don't interact much but we got to watch Anthony introduce them a little bit and it was nice and cute. Leia is much bigger but very sweet, and Stella is a Schnauzer so a terrier... Jason cooked our meal which was shrimp pot pie in a dutch oven. It was good! Jason's now at that early adolescent age with the very early adolescent moustache fuzzing in over the lip. Weird to think it won't even be that long before Anthony reaches that age too. He still feels so much like a kid now! We hung out a while and talked and ate and it was all pretty nice. Now I have to adjust to going back to work after such a nice long weekend! I mean, it's not too bad or nothin', it's just that long weekends are nice.
