Hard Work

I had to take some online training thing for work yesterday. That's fine, so I go in and look at the course and it's on safety and ergonomics. Okay, fine again. Probably not the most thrilling thing, but whatever. Then I get around to start watching the video (there were several and a few were upwards of twenty minutes) and see that it's about ergonomics for field technicians (note: I'm definitely not a field technician). So it's all about safety for the physical work that they do and I sit on my butt at home all day and this whole long thing definitely doesn't apply to me. So I start getting bored as hell with it all immediately. Then I found that if you skip close to the end and then let the video finish that it counts as complete so I just did that for all the videos. Hey, if it had even remotely applied to me I would have gone through it all. Anyway, after work Mary Beth and I put together this new shelf thing she'd ordered for the breakfast nook area (I say Mary Beth and I but it was almost all Mary Beth doing the work). Then we got it set up but needed to adjust the shelf levels so it's the kind of thing where you have to take it all apart again to do so! But anyway, it was done and there's a shelf and stuff. Other than that I mostly just did a whole bunch of Duolingo yesterday.
