I finally got around to testing the bit of advice Ricky gave me concerning my Delta Labs Origami wave folder. When I told him my problem, he mentioned the trim pot on the back of the circuit board and so I took the module out and played around with that and now I have a range of wave folding, from unfolded, through regular wave folding, to blasted the fuck out. So it looks like it worked! So I get wavefolding and the super-distortion I was getting before. The fold knob now goes quite a distance before it does anything, but that was the only way I could get it set to where it would get down to a clean, unfolded wave at all. Later in the afternoon Mary Beth and I went for a walk down to the park. It was unusually crowded in the forest. I guess a lot of people doing resolution-driven walking or whatever. At night we finished watching The Simpsons: the Nineteenth Season. And we started in on that Science Is Fiction set. Then it was back to work today. It was the first day in a good long while that a normal amount of people were in the office. I was still just working on training modules and while I left a bit early, it wasn't nearly as early as I'd been leaving the past couple weeks.
