Cookie Time

I returned the rental sub last night and then Mary Beth and I watched this documentary called The Workers Cup about workers building the stadium and stuff for the World Cup in Qatar. It was good and it was sad. Today I brought a whole bunch of baked goods that Mary Beth had made up to work. They were very popular and loved. There was cardamom cornmeal cookies, fig and bleu cheese cookies, and saffron and chocolate loaf cake. I mean, it was all awesome. Oh and here's the kicker, with all that food there wasn't even any left over to leave out. It all got eaten! Nice. I also had my performance review today. Pretty perfunctory and my manager said good things so hopefully that means good things down the line.
