Residents

Last night I went up to Crosstown to see The E.G.G.G. play. Alex has an artist residency at Crosstown and it was the open house night and night of residency showcases or whatever you call it. But it was also the night of some big Christmas thing at the Concourse. It was a fuckin' zoo up there. Packed with people and they had shit like acrobats on these giant tripods and they were blowing confetti like leaves everywhere. And kids were just running around like crazy. I took a little look at one of the art exhibits they had. I liked the part with transparencies of maps a lot. Then I watched The E.G.G.G. play. They also have that blues guitarist that Luís has played with separately playing with them. They put on a good set. I didn't stick around for the next artist. I could tell it wouldn't be my sort of thing, more like folk rock or something. I got home and hung out with Mary Beth the rest of the night. We watched a little more Simpsons. Then we read to each other. Now it's the morning of another day.
