Last night Mary Beth and I went up to Crosstown (the old 430 gallery for once) for this Indie Memphis screening of shorts from the 80s and 90s by black women. They were good. There was one that was especially good (use of still photography, etc). There was a lot where the sound quality wasn't so good and it was a little hard to catch dialog in places and I missed things here and there, but other than that it was good. Then it ended kinda early and I finished mixing my waltz. Then I see that the deadline's been extended another month! The person who runs it all had personal stuff and the last challenge hasn't been released yet so that's why they extended this one. Well, at least I'm done I guess. Then there was work today which was fine. I was having horrible slowness issues with Anypoint Studio but at the end of the day I think I realized why. So hopefully I'll make progress tomorrow.
