In Between

Went to a show at the Lamplighter last night. Disco Volante started things off and Revenge Body finished it. They played their typical good sets. There were two touring acts in between that were not at all good. The first was this guy with an acoustic guitar run through a little amp's built-in chorus effect. He played little acoustic pop songs that weren't good. It was in earnest but not my thing. Next was just godawful. Something of a group, but kinda one guy. He sang and played acoustic guitar then there was one guy with a busted floor tom lightly tapping along and doing backing vocals along with another guy just doing backing vocals. They were trying very hard to be funny but it wasn't funny and it was just awful. I brought some wonderful cookies Mary Beth made to work today. I ate some and then they had cupcakes (mini bundt cakes, really) and on top of all that I made myself full. I got some special button paint in the mail today. Maybe I can fix up some unresponsive buttons!
