Just Desserts

Worked on music just a tid bit last night. Had to wear the bandaid on my face again to work. The sores are mostly drying out and dead, but after I get out of the shower they nice and warmed up and pink and shiny and gross. Maybe it'd die down by the time I got to work, I don't know, I just know then and there it's not good. Hopefully tomorrow I can get back to a semblance of normal. I discovered there are even more arcade machines at work! On my floor, there's the Galaga/Ms. Pac Man machine I mentioned earlier. The second floor has Donkey Kong. And the first floor has two: another Galaga/Ms. Pac Man and Street Fighter 2. So not a bad collection now! A lot of nerding out can be done! I played a little Donkey Kong. Oh yeah and today was a big desserts contest. I brought a pecan pie Mary Beth'd made (with ginger, bourbon, and maple). Got to have a bunch of desserts (Mary Beth's was the best of all I had though! like, it's really good). There were raffles for some prizes and if you had an entry you got extra tickets, and we won a gift certificate to Central Barbecue so that's pretty awesome! After coming home, we had our new couch delivered. It's just in a couple big boxes right now. We may see if we can get someone to assemble it. We'll see.
