Put my Knit Rider back in the case yesterday, but that was pretty easy 'cuz I've pretty much been saving a space for it in the months it's been gone. I used it in picking back up in the song I was working on. Got a rhythmic pattern in the sequence. It was really tricky 'cuz I had to start it up in time with the already recorded rhythm. Pamela's workout is very stable, but it's what's syncing and it's not synced to anything else, so I have to time hitting the start button in rhythm. Then on top of that, the way I have it sequenced I have to also time the start of the Knit Rider (if I have it start with the sequence there's a hiccup on the first beat as it picks up the external clock, so I have to start it with the external clock already going) also had to reset the sequencer in time 'cuz it starts with the clock and I don't want it to "start" on the wrong note. Then on top of that I'm playing the Rene to offset the different chords and switching the sequencer from major to minor for one of 'em (not too bad in and of itself but the encoder is easy to turn too far past the chord type I want, this in the Meta Sequencer, by the way). Oh, and I wanted two oscillators in the part but I came to quickly find the limits of not having a buffered multiple. When I split the signal between the two it got very noticeably out of tune very quickly. So I had to record each one twice and get all the timing lined up again. Luckily after I got the first one and all the practice I had it seemed much easier to do the second one. Okay, boring talk. What else? More work on the same damn thing I've been working on forever. Fucking dependency hell. Been getting help from others and still am not there yet. We'll see. Eh, that's about it for now.
