Blood Man

Last night I finished reading Bloodchild and Other Stories by Octavia E. Butler. It was quite good, especially the title story that Mary Beth had read to me previously. Not a whole lot else. Did wake up coughing a bit around 4 am and could tell I was keeping Mary Beth up so I went up to cvs and got some ricolah drops. Also realized part of the problem was being vertical so we propped up some pillows and I was able to lay down sitting up and the coughing subsided. It wasn't perfectly comfortable but I was eventually even able to get back to sleep. She's been worried about me but I mostly feel okay. A bit of nastiness in my throat but not too bad and lots less coughing. Anyway, went to work today. Had a lunch with the ol' jboss group, though there was also this other guy there that the other people know that I didn't know, think I figured out his role by the end and he's relatively new. Okay. It was Las Delicias so that was good. Left work a little early so now doing some ready getting.
