Thursday night for a bit, Mary Beth and I went back up to Crosstown Arts. One of the girls that was in the video art panel discussion the other night was having an exhibit. It was pretty good. Lots of plastic sheets and triangles. Yesterday at work was fun. I felt like I was learning a lot. My linux skills suck and I was really pushing against that. Collaborating with my team to figure shit out. And we may have finally figured out where to proceed, thanks to a suggestion by Amogh right before the end of the day. After work Mary Beth and I went back up to Crosstown (yeah, there so much lately) for the Impossible Language poetry reading. We wrapped the evening up by watching Lemonade (the Lemonade that's Beyoncé's new "visual album"). It was pretty good. I've never really been able to get into any of her stuff that I've heard outside of "Single Ladies" (which I absolutely love), and while there weren't any songs that I liked that much, there was some stuff that was pretty good and very little that I disliked (maybe two). And the visuals were good, taking it in as a movie.
