Again

Yeah so I get to work and...last night's release had to be rolled back! (At least for B2B.) So yeah, then it's all once again crunch time trying to solve these issues they had. So it just never ends, eh? Anyway, so I'm doing investigation work for that this morning. Turns out to have been a data issue. They acquired a new company and so there was a bunch of data to convert and in the process it apparently introduced a bunch of bad special characters into certain columns. These special characters made the xml unparseable for when it was being returned so that's why the data failed. The database dude was able to run something to clean the data so once the cause was discovered it was solved within a few minutes. So that was at least an easy resolution. I know there were a couple other issues, but they didn't have anything to do with my stuff. After work it was grocery shopping. Recovering from a headache. I can't wait to get started in on relaxing this damn weekend. Yeah. Also, I never bothered sharing that podcast music I did a couple months ago. Here it is:
