Let the Games Begin
Jan. 2nd, 2016 10:27 amAlright! Starting off the new year by...sitting around the house! Mary Beth and I busted out some boardgames. We played Jaipur (you know, the one we got like eight copies of). It's a good two-player card game. We played Red 7. It's another card game that's like a focused/structured Flux mixed with a little bit of Uno or something. And we played Spy Alley. This one is like a classic American-style boardgame; it's like a better Monopoly crossed with a better Clue. I won Jaipur and Mary Beth won the others. We also rounded the night with a good ol' game of Labyrinth, probably to Mary Beth's consternation. During the evening I also watched Putney Swope (probably the better of those Robert Downey movies so far, it was okay).
