The Biggest Little Game in the World

On Sunday I went over to my parents'. My dad wanted to share some news with me. It's the same news that my mom told us when we had dinner with her at Pasta Italia. So it's not something have to hide anymore on that level, though he still doesn't want my sister to know so I guess we still have to hide it on another level... Yesterday after work we ended up going over to RP Tracks to see Jason and Tara as they were having a meet-up-with-friends thingie while they were in town. So there was a lot of hanging out for a few hours and it was fun. Afterwards we gave Jacques a ride home and did presents exchange over at his place. I got a few cds: Coil: The Consequences of Raising Hell (!!!) and Red Lorry Yellow Lorry: See the Fire. I also got a book: The Making of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: a Space Odyssey by Piers Bizony (a giganormous Taschen beauty). The highlight of the night though may have been in one of the presents Mary Beth got: a game called Jaipur. Well, it comes in this really big box and we're all wow this is a big game. I personally hadn't heard of it. Anyway, kinda peek in the box and see all these smaller boxes that on closer inspection looked more and more identical. Turns out he'd gotten a bulk box with eight copies of the game! The outer box they were all in had its own packaging so it did look like it could be a game on its own. Mary Beth may have gotten more amusement out of the circumstances of that mistake than any actual present could have given her! Anyway, lots of laughing and now we have a bunch of games/a game to give away (gave one to Patrick at work today). The game is suppsoed to be good. I had gotten to the point where I was FINISHED with the Bernie site (a couple tweaks were left that I'd push out in a later update) but then someone went to look at it on mobile and all dreams came crashing down. That was a huge mess. I have an at least temporary fix and we'll see if that lets it be ready. We'll see.
