No Babies

Sunday evening I did some music work for the Paul collaboration project. This one was actually more musical and multitracked. I recorded to my laptop. In order to play to the click track, I had to set up a jacked up monitoring system. It seemed to mostly work. It worked mostly okay for the first track, which was chords on the Prophet. It was cutting out a little, but in a tonal way where it was slightly staticy sounding in parts. And mostly not event noticeable. Then I added a part on the Moog and it starteed really cutting out, where the sound dropped out for large chunks of time. I ended up adding a few tracks of it and they were all intermittent, but with several going on at once it sort of made up and ended up being kind of neat on its own.

The past two days I went over to my parents' to babysit the nephews while my parents were at my dad's two retirement dinners (he's retiring next week!). Well, so I babysat the kids and the kids weren't even there! My sister had taken 'em and was supposed to bring 'em back but didn't. And because of legal stuff and Anthony missing his speech therapy appointment, my dad is extremely pissed at her. Anyway, I was over there for the past two nights. Not doing much. A little access on their shitty internet connection. Reading. Monday I ordered a sandwich from Garibaldi's and it was delicious. Yesterday I went swimming a little bit. I got to spend some time with Lacey. She's so old now. And the growth on her back is really big and doesn't look so good. But it's nice to see my doggie.

Today I was at work pretty late looking into this issue that's been going on the past few days with a bunch of other people. Finally the right person was able to give some time to it and we figured out what was going on. I use "we" liberally. I was doing some stuff to help, but hardly what could be called a whole lot. Anyway, relieved to be done and back home.
