Okay, a week and stuff. What went down? There was training at work on Wednesday and Thursday. It was the second session and I'd heard from some on the first that it was really boring and bad. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting (though Thursday after lunch was kinda bad for a bit). Saw Three Colors: White on Wednesday. Perhaps liked it even more. Saw Salad Days (the documentary about the DC punk scene) on Thursday. It was pretty good. Right afterwards we went over to Overton Square where they were showing this documentary about its history that was made in the 90s I think. That was being shown outside. That was fun. Okay, what else? Last night was the Chris Bell tribute show at the Hi-Tone. I mean, his stuff and Big Star is really not my thing so I'm not a good judge as to how it was. You could tell the people doing it are studio musicians. The lineup changed between every song. Today I went and "helped" my dad pick out a new laptop. He's retirning in just over a month and uses a company computer right now. After that I came and grabbed Mary Beth and we went over to the Coliseum for the event trying to save it. It was outside of course. Jerry Lawler did some wrastlin'. I'm not a wrestling dude, but it was pretty enjoyable. Good bad guys. Enjoyed the symbolism in the story. They were from Mississippi and hated Memphis and wanted the Coliseum and the whole city torn down. They liked getting the events from Memphis and taking money etc. I do hope something good happens to the Coliseum. It's one of my favorite buildings in the city.
