Some More Days

Some stuff in the mail yesterday: The Simpsons: the Seventeenth Season and the latest trickle of Criterion sale orders: A Brief History of Time and Mystery Train. Then I worked my day off yesterday. Lame but I need some moolah right now. I did get to train someone on the scanner for part of it. I dunno, lame as it sounds it sorta fills the void left by quitting teaching (to a small degree anyway). I mean, the reasons for leaving outweigh those I'd have for staying by far, but the parts I do miss sometimes make me ache. Worked on my solo fake soundtrack album cover and got the pieces coming together and I think it's about finished. Unless I have just a few touches here and there. Came out better than I expected! Mary Beth and I just got some Vietnamese (first time I had the sour soup and it was really good with the shrimp and pineapple and tomatoes) and ran some errands. Alright, let's make use of this one day I have off this week!
