Yesterday Mary Beth and I met Molly at Pho Saigon for lunch. Later in the day I read the Ted Chiang story "Division by Zero" and it was really good and sad. At night, I decided I'd try to fix something that's been bothering me about the mix of "Battle Chant" since we did it. Ryan's main keyboard part is just too low. So I went back to the ol' recordin' machine and got that track and mixed it with the final "mastered" version of the song. Nothing major, but I think it brought out the part to an acceptable level. Emailed it to the other dudes without telling 'em what I did to make sure the process didn't have any unintended consequences (didn't notice any negative effects after listening to it, but fresh, unknowing ears that know the song are good too). So we'll see.
