Additions

Jacques came over yesterday and we worked on a few things. Put down the synth at the beginning of "Safety Corridor" (similar to the noisy synth in its "Intro" sate on Artifact 2012). Then I put down two tracks of noisy modular to go underneath the end. I used a bit of a mix of 3U and 5U modules. It was fun and the results are pretty damn awesome. Then Jacques brought in his sampler and a sample to loop at the end of "Lost Year." I also grabbed a short bit of the distorted guitar from earlier in the song to loop at the end as well. So that long distorted feedback drone at the end that ended up lasting longer than the actual "song" part has a little more cohesion. Jacques seems more inclined to keeping the whole damn thing. We also played around with him operating the sampler and me operating the loop pedal for a short noisy jam session. Then we went out with Mary Beth into the between phase of iciness to Huey's. Been a very very lazy Sunday morning.
