And Then Tomorrow...

Jacques came over first yesterday. And he had some birthday presents: Broadcast: Berberian Sound Studio soundtrack (and the live Talking Heads I'd just gotten in Denver). We did some recording work on "Histrionics." We got all of Jacques's guitar part recorded. Then Ryan and Paul came over. Paul also brought a present: headphones. Funny, 'cuz I was just bitching to Jacques about how I always need to get new ones and never think to. Then we did some band practice. We worked on the one Paul sings and Jacques and I finally got parts worked out and settled on. After practice, Mary Beth and Ryan and I walked to Kwik Chek and met the others there (along with Shawna and Tori). After walking back, we went over to Paul and Shawna's where we all watched Flying Monkeys. It was exacty what one would expect from a movie with that title. Then we went to the P&H to see Simon and Organ Thief's reuinion/final show. "Blast from the past" (as we played with both bands together long ago). Both bands were just like I remembered. And Organ Thief played FOREVER. Well over two hours. Maybe three? I dunno. We also met Ryan's brother. Welp, it's really the last day. That's okay. I'm ready for it. Bring it on! (Well, I do want to enjoy today first.)
