Ful for You
Jul. 2nd, 2013 08:46 pmThis morning I finished reading The Universal Baseball Association, Inc., J. Henry Waugh, Prop. by Robert Coover. It was a very good book. My old ass copy is now falling apart, but the reading part was all good. Then Mary Beth and I went out for breakfast at this Ethiopian (etc.) place called Derae. It was fucking awesome. The owner guy was like the nicest guy ever and telling us what we should eat and very chatty. He even gave us free samosas (he called 'em something else, samboras? or something 'cuz "they're better"). We had ful and something else and it was all delicious as fuck. Definitely recommended. My favoritest new place in town in a while (new to me, they've been there almost a year). Then I went to the gym. At the end, right after I wrapped up the tobata intervals in my cardio a guy who worked there came up to me to tell me I was freaking people out with my yelling. In the early evening I went to see my grandmother in her nursing home. After that, picked up Kwik Chek (for dinner and tomorrow's road food). Now I need to get ready. I'm starting to get excited. Cats are not.
