Mostly finished up "Battle Chant" yesterday. We recorded the two guitar parts. We added the bass "fills." I exploded my throat doing the vocals. I did one take that gota kinda messed up. Then I did another take and probably pushed myself even farther. Jacques said when I had finished, "Is that one it?" and I barely managed to croak out, "It better be." Then Ryan added a little bit to one section of his synth part. Then I again di-ed some modularly enhanced bass for my noisy drone at the beginning and accidentlly stumbled upon another cool sound which I proceeded to add throughout the rest of the song. It was early; Jacques and I went back to a few other songs and added a couple things we'd meant to. Another track of distortion (high and squelchy) for the distorted parts of "Lost Year." We tacked on my voice hissing then modulating into white noise through the vocoder at the very beginning of "Fall Behind." I also finally made a successful take of the SK-1 playing my hissing throughout the noise intro. I think that's about it. Pretty good session yesterday and we weren't all up and working til midnight.
