The band came over yesterday and we had something of an abortive practice. We practiced for a little bit and then my neighbor got pissed off. Said I never told him when we'd practice like I said I would. I had told them we practice on Saturdays, back when they got mad that time we did it on a weeknight. I told them I'd inform if we deviated and Saturdays are when we normally practice. It was said I never said one way or the other. Okay. Now it's understood for the future. Late last night Mary Beth and I drove out right into Fayette County to watch the meteor shower. The meteors weren't bright, but we saw 'em. I think she saw 'em better than me, with my not-quite-so-perfect-anymore glasses. It was pretty spiffy being that far from the city and seeing so many stars I don't usually get to see. One thing I should have mentioned in my last post. When we were over at Josh and Molly's, at one point I stuck my shirt over my head and pretended to be a ghost for Maria and Lila. They were liking it at first but then Lila got scared and told me to stop. Maybe she also didn't like it when I turned her upside down when I picked her up. Not sure, but I stopped.
