not over...

Mary Beth and i got up early and went for a walk this morning and it was nice and cool having just rained...i think that might be the new plan on days i go in late...well, afterwards i called the principal at the final school, but he told me he had another applicant to interview and i would know by tomorrow...so i'm thinking it's pretty much over, and it may still be, but he called later today and left a message asking me to come in for ANOTHER interview tomorrow...so i called him back, well, our last interview was an "informal chat" and tomorrow we can have a "formal interview"...that was the one where i had to drive to another location when he wasn't at the school and interviewed in the lobby and he did almost all of the talking, i had much opportunity to keep my mouth shut (trying this out as a good idea as much as possible after my very unsuccessful previous attempts at trying to say as much as i can...) well, so now it's not all over...i still don't know if i have a chance and i dread going through all the motions again with the suit and all, at least it's in the afternoon...and i'll be interviewing with a group of people and not just him this time...i much prefer the one on one interviews...oh well...in the mail: Autechre: Move of Ten...now to...i dunno...oh, and i finally got around to watching Salò last night (alone, it's a movie Mary Beth won't watch...) i liked it quite a bit (makes me curious to actually read de Sade...bits of the movie reminded me a lot of Burroughs and i know he was an influence on him...though i've had the impression that actually reading de Sade himself might not be all that great...) also, the movie's not nearly as bad and horrible as its reputation and some people might have it...Sweet Movie, i can see where those sorts of complaints are coming from, but Salò not so much...
