finished

just took my final...went over to Dustin's to use his connection that doesn't crap out intermittently like ours here...i think i did okay...it was multiple choice...we'll see...anyway, back in time...i got in the mail on saturday i believe: The Review of Contemporary Fiction Fall 2009 | Vol. XXIX, No. 3: Dalkey Archive Annual 3...my last in my subscription! i guess i'll need to renew within the next half year...had fun at Paul and Shawna's housewarming party...their place is huge...lotsa fine folks to talk to...went to work early today...was originally scheduled for 9, but traded for 8 so i could get off in time for my final...finished reading both The Gold Bug Variations by Richard Powers and The Land of Green Plums by Herta Müller, both were very good...and hey, it's the first time i've read a Nobel winner the same year they won...i'm getting on top of things now...one note of concern: right before taking my final i noticed one of my last homework assignments never posted...i don't know what's up with that! i could swear i remember submitting it...i sure as fuck DID it...emailed my teacher, we'll see...it's not a whole lot of points, but if i fudged the final a little i could use the wiggle-room!
