run away

leaving for work this morning there's a fucking marathon being run right outside my house and east parkway is fucking blocked off...cars stuck at the intersection were backed past my house so i went the other way and switched over to poplar which may have been worse...as overton park is right there in order to around i'd have to go WAY out of the way and then not know if i'd still run into the marathon on the other side...so i waited it out...had to call in a fifteen minute cut for like the first time ever...that was annoying as heck (good thing i got my phone back working when i did)...anyway, then at work i finished reading Lord of the Flies by William Golding...no, i'd never read it before...it was alright...straddling the line between good and a little cheesy...i came home to an awesome package!: a Moog MP-201 Multi-Pedal...now i'm ready to be a midi and cv powerhouse! yo...also, my wife was wonderful and found my coat (as i'd been missing all but my light jacket since, uh, some point when it was too warm for such things, and now it's getting way too cold for it...) so i'm ready to brave the weather tomorrow and days to come!
