updates and stuff...

i worked on another song for my new project thingie yesterday...haven't finished it yet...it's more like ambient incidental soundscape kinda stuff...and it ended up being a bit long for one scene that i have in mind so i'll probably break it up across a few different "scenes"...whenever you "see" the exterior of this spacecraft approaching...that can happen more than once, so i'll just have different "variants" happen multiple times...the other song i'd made too long too...but i'll let it slide...it's a movie "about" space so there can be lots of long drawn out stuff with nothing happening but music at the beginning...although it might be a good idea to have like a clock or something nearby in the future...else everything i do will be too long...but i mixed the song yesterday (the first one, the finished one) and it's up on myspace and you can hear it here if you so choose...however listening to it again i need to fine-tune the mix a bit...the "melody" part seems a bit too quiet...anyway...my car battery seems about to go...i stopped by somewhere after work to pick up a new battery but it turns out i don't know the size of my engine so i'll have to figure that out and buy one hopefully tomorrow...anyway, that's it for my exciting day...oh yeah, and i woke up this morning feeling alright and everything and i'm going through my morning routine alright and everything and then in the shower of all places i kind of stretch up and my back starts spasming like crazy and of course it's been sore all day...pretty lame...
