tornado!

i finally did get the doctor's office on the phone this morning...the same nurse i talked to yesterday...she was once again a little rude and when i asked about the diabetes again she was like "i already told you yesterday" blah blah and the doctor would have said something if that was the problem...so i still really haven't heard about it...i dunno...maybe there is no problem but still...Kyle, the kind man who lent me his testing kit, said that was how he discovered his diabetes...went to the doctor and he referred him to an ophthalmologist (which is what my doctor did) and then when he went to the other doctor he was like "uh, no you need to go to a doctor for diabets" so that makes me a bit extra concerned about the initial doctor being lazy and rushed...we'll see...and i hadn't felt bad all last week but today i felt dizzy again...i did finish reading How I Conquered Your Planet by John Swartzwelder...then there's a tornaod warning today and apparently a ton of tornadoes all around...they actually took everyone off the phones for an hour and a half (i was actually surprised at their not being grossly negligent) i was in the monitoring room (just a small inner room) with 20 people from 5 to 6:30...then i got home and waiting for the next wave of storm...the sirens went on briefly but the second warning didn't last long...Mary Beth was on her way home as the sirens went off and then we sat in the hall with cats in carriers for a few minutes...anyway, my head sucks right now...
