friday night i got a call from Brad informing me that my new Silvertone guitar had shown up at his house...so i naturally had to go over to see my new rock machine...oh my, it is so wonderful! it and the amp are near-perfect in almost every way...there is ONE problem w/ the guitar, however...for some reason, the low e string doesn't get picked up well...it's really quiet compared to the other strings...my guess is that it's something involving the pickup, but what exactly i have no idea...a game of Life was played, that was entertaining...talked to Jacques and there was gonna be some sort of band thing w/ the three of us, but by the time Jacques showed up Brad had been passed out in his bathroom w/ the door locked for quite a long time...and he couldn't be awoken...Jacques and i listened to some old tapes, then we swung by the practice space so i could show him my new pedal and play my new guitar...i also showed him that drum thing i had come up w/ and picked up the bass and we kinda jammed on that, hopefully it should be a rockin' number or something...

i went to work saturday...afterwards i swung by Brad's...a game of badminton was played...Brad was just talking about how Jibbles (his dog) mostly does her business near the house, so we should be okay where the net is...then we walk outside and the first thing she does is walk right up in the middle of the "court" and take a little doggie dump...we had to bat it away w/ sticks...fun stuff...but playing badminton was quite a lot of fun...i was hungry, i wanted to go to that Cuban restaurant but it was crowded so we went to that new Central Barbeque, it was good...then to Turtle's, i got AFX: Analogue Bubblebath used...a game of Aggravation was played...Brad and i stayed up far too late doing nothing...

important good news: we have asked our good friend Paul assist us out of our band crisis by being in the band...he's up for it...it's kind've a weird situation and all...we're not kicking Keith out, but we don't know if he'll ever be able to play w/ us at all...or maybe he say he will but we'll just be led on w/ events resembling our last "practice" together...it might kind've suck for Paul, coming into such an uncertain situation, but if all works out, none of us would be objected into turning into a 5-piece if Keith ever comes back around...we shall see...hopefully some rock w/ our new ROCK DUDE will transpire later this week...

i worked today but that was pretty uneventful...well, Willie called in so we were short a driver and we got real busy so i was working longer than i had expected, and there was this auction on ebay i was wanting to win...so i called Brad and had him bid for me on Robbie's computer...he did, thank him very much...i won: Boss RC-20 loop station...a machine that should aid me in making rock very much...
